Senior Role for Dynamic and Ambitious Tax Advisor

This client facing role will see you taking on a senior position within the highly respected team of tax advisers at Carpenter Box. Your focus will be on delivering high level tax planning advice to corporates, other businesses, trusts and estates and high net worth individuals as well as working alongside the Head of Tax Services in developing the strategic direction of the department. You will be a confident self starter with strong networking and business development skills. You will also have an excellent all-round knowledge of tax and a successful track record in advising a varied and demanding client portfolio. The ability to communicate that knowledge confidently and effectively is essential.

Tax Senior with scope to move towards Tax Manager status

An opportunity exists to join the team of tax advisers at Carpenter Box. You will be working alongside a team of highly experienced tax advisers and involved in a number of exciting tax related projects. The role will suit an individual who has a sound background in accountancy and tax and is looking to make that next leap forward in his or her career. The successful candidate could range from a newly qualified accountant looking to specialise in tax to a tax senior with a number of years’ experience. You will already have a grounding in both the compliance and advisory aspects of tax work and an interest in developing that experience further. This is a great opportunity for an individual keen to make a mark in the field of tax and up for a challenge.

PA to Practice Director

The Practice Director has a wide remit including Practice Administration, HR, Facilities, IT and Business Development. This role, which is within the Practice Support Group, will therefore require someone who enjoys a challenging and varied workload and who isn't afraid to take responsibility. The ideal candidate will be very organised (and will need to organise the Practice Director who has the memory of a goldfish) and is used to working to deadlines. Although the role is predominantly an administrative one, some experience of HR, Health and Safety and Facilities Manangement will be useful. These will be the main areas of focus for this role. This is a great opportunity for someone who wants to progress into a more responsible role from say, a secretarial role.
