Paul Archer BSc (Econ) FCA- Chairman




Background: Paul was born and educated in Worthing and joined the firm in 1976 having qualified with Coopers and Lybrand. He became Chairman of the LLP at its inception in 2006.

Known for his sartorial elegance, Paul was for many years the Senior Partner of the old Carpenter Box partnership.  His aim has always been to maintain a high degree of team spirit within the firm and to promote the professional standards for which the firm is so renowned.

Professional Expertise: In his years in practice, Paul acquired considerable knowledge and experience which he now puts to good use in client relationship management terms. His portfolio included a variety of companies and professional firms whom he advises on a wide range of commercial issues. He has specialised in regulated clients including financial services, charities and registered social landlords.

Outside of the Office: Paul’s interests include racquet sports, scuba diving (which he indulges in on a fairly regular basis) and travelling. Paul is also an active member of a local church.
