Eileen Houghton
Eileen qualified as a Chartered Certified Accountant but is now a fellow member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales. She trained with Carpenter Box and, after a short spell in industry, returned to the firm in 1996. Having become a Partner in April 2006, Eileen has expertise in the field of audit and compliance, with particular emphasis on the regulated sectors.
She has formidable expertise helping Charities and Not for Profit organisations not just to meet their compliance commitments but also to advise in relation to good governance. Eileen holds the ICAEW’s Diploma in Charity Accounting.
Outside the office
Eileen is a Trustee for a number of charities. After her grandchildren and children her biggest love is the sun and travelling. She has seen many of the world’s finest beaches and intends to carry on discovering more!
