Providing the tools to build your business
We’re passionate about UK manufacturing, engineering and technology…
MHA Carpenter Box is a centre for excellence when it comes to advising businesses in the manufacturing, engineering and technology sector. Our proactive approach to helping businesses prosper is complemented by our national and international credentials. Nationally, the accumulated experience of our colleagues in MHA’s Manufacturing Group across the UK, means we are well positioned to advise our clients on a diverse range of industry related areas from accounting and audit to the more specialist areas around tax, including Research and Development Tax Relief, Capital Reliefs and Patent Box to name but a few.
But what makes us different? We think it’s the passion we have for the sector. Our words are more than matched by our actions. For many years we have facilitated a manufacturing and engineering forum helping businesses in the sector to share best practice and network with each other. 2016 will see more events all aimed at helping the sector to prosper. From MHA Carpenter Box we lead MHA’s Manufacturing Sector Group helping to establish the MHA Manufacturing & Engineering Survey as a go-to report when it comes to understanding the SME sector, its opportunities and challenges.
Our involvement with the sector is extensive. We facilitate networking with METALL and through MHA, we lobby the Government on behalf of the sector in relation to issues that affects the growth potential of manufacturers and engineers. Our strong links with MAS, UKTI, IMechE and other stakeholders such as the LEPs and the banks means that we can help clients by signposting such things as funding, grants and training opportunities.
MHA Carpenter Box is also an independent UK member of Baker Tilly International; this means that we have a trusted international network with advisers in over 130 countries world wide. With the ‘global economy’ a growing factor in all of our lives, having a network of global advisers wherever you operate is a big bonus.
