The present economic downturn is to a large degree a reflection of the loss of confidence in the property market. This followed HIPs, the sub-prime scandal and the subsequent squeeze on credit. The effect on estate agents - commercial and residential - has been pretty severe. At Carpenter Box we act for a number of estate agents and we see our role as one where we help our clients to make the most of what is out there.
