Robin Evans
Robin trained with a Top Ten firm in London back in the 1990’s before moving to Sussex. After a couple of years with a smaller Brighton-based firm he sampled the world of industry, spending two years as an internal auditor. He returned to practice when he joined Carpenter Box in 2002. Robin became a Partner in our Assurance and Advisory Group in April 2018, and has accumulated many years of post-qualification experience as a Chartered Accountant and Chartered Tax Adviser. Over the last year Robin has successfully studied at Bayes Business School for the Diploma in Charity Accounting.
As part of the firm’s Assurance and Advisory Group, Robin acts as a Senior Statutory Auditor for a range of clients in a number of different industries, including manufacturing, utilities and leisure. He is head of both the Not for Profit and Academies teams. Robin is also passionate about seeing our CSR offering in action, encouraging staff to be involved with their local community.
Outside the office
Robin regularly enjoys long weekend walks with the family dog, either on the West Sussex beaches or in the South Downs, as well as being a keen football fan and enjoying a good book.
