£8 million funding available for immersive content creation

Over the next 20 years, it is expected that immersive technologies will fundamentally change the way we experience products and services – including art, shops and classrooms.

Innovate UK estimates that there are 1,000 immersive-specialist companies in the UK generating £660 million in sales, potentially representing as much as 9% of the global market share.

For the UK to become a world-leading developer of immersive experiences, the government are looking to support content creators to produce immersive content that goes above and beyond the current ‘state of the art’.
