Our Autumn 2018 event schedule – save the dates!

As the brisk autumnal weather takes hold, our Autumn season of events moves into full swing. We have plenty of sector-specific and trend focused events planned for the next couple of months with something to suit manufacturers and businesses looking to plan ahead of Brexit and Making Tax Digital.

All of our events are free but places tend to fill up fast so make sure you register quickly to avoid disappointment!

October

9th October – METALL Masterclass: Innovation Workshop – Amelia House, Worthing
This workshop focuses on helping manufacturing businesses understand the five key capabilities critical to making better products, selling more and generating greater profits.

16th October – Financial Planning for Later Life – Methold House, Worthing
This event will cover some of the legal issues surrounding wills, trusts and power of attorney as well as financial implications such as Inheritance Tax, self-assessment and care fees funding.

17th October – HSBC Economic Seminar – Copthorne London Gatwick Hotel
Mark Berrisford-Smith, Head of Economics at HSBC UK, will provide an economic outlook, including the Brexit Crunch and other important developments in the wider global economy.

November

1st November – METALL #9 – Rolls-Royce Motor Cars, Chichester
While the shape of Brexit is still unknown, this event will discuss how to undertake a review of your current supplier network to minimise the risks as well as provide an informative overview of contract law.

14th November – METALL Masterclass: Employment – CBSbutler, Redhill
This event will explore the top employee retention issues for manufacturing, engineering and technology companies. Topics include new ways of thinking about employee engagement, how to deal with employee retention across a generation gap and what you can do to protect your business when people leave.

27th November – Making Tax Digital with NatWest – Crowne Plaza Gatwick
This event will help ensure local businesses are up to date with MTD changes, what they mean for your business and what we can do to help make it simple for you.
