Carpenter Box Charitable Foundation’s 10th Anniversary launch event

We were pleased to kick off our big year of the Carpenter Box Charitable Foundation’s (CBCF) fundraising through a launch event last Thursday evening.

Almost 50 people attended the event which included sponsors, local charities who have benefited from donations, the High Sheriff of West Sussex and the Deputy Mayor of Worthing as well as CBCF staff Trustees. In addition to enjoying some canapes, special CBCF cupcakes and sparkling Ridgeview wine, guests heard how the Foundation started as well as our plans for the 10th year and beyond. Caroline Nicholls, High Sheriff of West Sussex also gave a few words on the importance of companies playing their part in the community and thanked the Charitable Foundation for being a founding donor of the Worthing and Adur fund.

Thank you to everyone who came along, we hope you enjoyed the evening!

Throughout the year we are hoping to raise an additional £10,000 through fundraising events, including a trek and cycle across the South Downs, a sponsored 10k run and a quiz night. Our staff will also be participating in volunteering activities for charities and community groups.

Thanks to the sponsors of our CBCF 10th Anniversary Year:
