Chris Coopey wins Business Personality award!
In a glittering ceremony held at Worthing Pavilion on Friday 16th November, hundreds of local professionals came together to celebrate the best of business in the community.
Sponsored by The Martlet Partnership, the Business Personality award had no shortlist and was awarded on the night.
When presenting the award to Chris Coopey the compere, Simon Fanshawe OBE, read:
Having qualified originally as an engineer, Chris came to professional life with a good understanding of the problems and opportunities facing many types of businesses. He has a very practical approach to problem solving and relishes a challenge.
Chris joined MHA Carpenter Box at the end of 2005 and became a Partner of the firm in April 2007. He was particularly honoured to be elected President of the Worthing & Adur Chamber of Commerce in May 2017.
Chris firmly believes that Worthing & Adur is an amazing place to undertake business and commerce and has made a positive impact on the local business community by demonstrating strong leadership skills, and by encouraging innovation and ambition.
Manufacturing & Engineering winner
The winner of the MHA Carpenter Box sponsored Manufacturing & Engineering award was Pyroban, based in Shoreham. For almost 50 years Pyroban have been at the forefront of their industry, combining innovative design, state-of-the-art technology and cutting-edge manufacturing to bring cost-effective safety technologies to the market.
The judges were very impressed with Pyroban who provide explosion protection solutions for materials handling equipment and diesel engines. Strong customer relationships, technical innovation, continuous development and operational excellence have been fundamental contributors to Pyroban’s growth for almost 50 years.
