We’ve now reached the end of our 2018 guide for trustees. We hope you have found the guide useful in your journey to better governance. The final step of the guide provides you with a checklist so you can reflect on the progress you have made over the last 12 months.

Step 12: Checklist

Small marginal improvements will have a cumulative impact, both for yourself as a trustee and on the governance of your organisation. This will mean that you are not overwhelmed by trying to focus on too many areas at once.

Use the month to month checklist to log where you currently are within each area, where you want to be and some strategies you will use to get there. Don’t worry if you don’t achieve all of your actions. At the end of your period once you have reassessed yourself, creating an action plan for the next 12 months would be useful.
