MHA Carpenter Box welcomes new trainees!
Our largest ever intake
Over the last year, we have recruited thirteen new trainees to join our team in our Worthing and Gatwick offices, our largest ever intake! Nine of the trainees are now on the path to the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) qualification, with three studying towards the Institute of Chartered Accountants (ACA) qualification. We also have one trainee studying towards tax qualification with the Association of Tax Technicians (ATT).
In Worthing we now have Charlie Holdaway and Tamzin Crockett working as part of our Audit team, with Charlotte Scott joining the Tax Services Team. Ben Collins, Deaglan Johnson, Jamie Pritchard, Katriana Coombe and Leah Hayward have been welcomed into the Business Services Team.
In Gatwick, Arran Osborne, Natasha Gravett, Nick Downton and Stevin Chandrasekar have started in Audit with Laiba Baig joining Business Services.
Before life at MHA Carpenter Box, a number of our trainees went to University: Arran and Katriana were at Surrey, Tamzin and Nick at Sussex, Stevin at Exeter, Natasha at Brunel and Jamie was a former student in English Lit at the University of London, Royal Holloway before deciding to join MHA Carpenter Box!
Others went to College: Ben and Deaglan studied at Worthing College, Laiba started out in Creative Media at Crawley College before signing up to self study AAT, Charlie attended BHASVIC, Charlotte went to City College Brighton and Hove (now The MET) and Leah attended the Shoreham Academy.
All of the trainees will undertake our comprehensive in-house training programme, which has earned Platinum Status by the ACCA. They will be in excellent hands, working with a team of qualified and experienced accountants, business advisers and auditors – many of whom started their life at MHA Carpenter Box as trainees themselves!
Welcome and good luck to all our new trainees!
