Say hello to our new trainees!

Over the last year, we have welcomed new trainees to our team in both our Worthing and Gatwick offices. All our new trainees are now on the path to either an Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) or Institute of Chartered Accountants (ACA) qualification.

Some of our new trainees. From left to right: Emma Sparrow, Tabitha Nicholls, Rachel Cook, Daniel White, Dean Downes-Avery, Michael Davis and Will Sixsmith

In Worthing, we have been joined by Emma Sparrow, Rachel Cook and Will Sixsmith who are now working within our Audit team. Whilst Daniel White, Dean Downes-Avery, Michael Davis and Tabitha Nicholls have been welcomed to our Business Services team. In Gatwick, Jack Gamon and Thagendra Bura have started in Audit with Ben Roberts joining Business Services.

Before starting at MHA Carpenter Box, our new trainees took different journeys. Most went down the University route: Ben at Lancaster, Emma at Sussex, Rachel at the University of Wales Trinity Saint David, Thagendra at Kent and Will at Aberystwyth University. Some joined from College: Daniel went to The Littlehampton Academy with Dean, Michael and Tabitha all attending Worthing College; whilst Jack was an estate agent prior to joining us!

Now all of the trainees will undertake our comprehensive in-house training programme, which has earned Platinum Status by the ACCA. They will be in good hands too, working with a team of qualified and experienced accountants, business advisers and auditors – many of whom started their life at MHA Carpenter Box as a trainee themselves! They will also benefit from knowledge sharing across our national association MHA, and Baker Tilly International, our global network.

Welcome and good luck to all our new trainees!
