Senior Financial Planning Manager

We now have an exciting career opportunity for a highly motivated and ambitious individual to join us as a Senior Financial Planning Manager based in our Worthing office.

The focus on this role is to provide high-quality financial planning and investment management service to individuals and corporate entities within the parameters of the FCA.

This role involves liaising with clients, understanding their needs, researching products and providers, liaising with the Paraplanners and presenting the findings and recommendations to the client to meet their needs.

Responsibilities will include:
  • Contacting clients and arranging meetings
  • Conducting an in-depth review of the client’s circumstances and both current and future aims
  • Analysing information and preparing plans to suit the client’s requirements
  • Completing risk analyses
  • Researching the marketplace and providing clients with information on new and existing products and services
  • Communicating clearly with clients and colleagues
  • Preparing and maintaining client files to a suitable compliance standard
  • Ensuring all compliance paperwork is present
  • Assisting in providing technical support
  • Coaching of team members
The ideal candidate:
  • Must be Level 4 Diploma qualified
  • Will have excellent organisational skills
  • Will have the ability to work on own initiative and plan own workload
  • Will have a thorough understanding of all compliance regulations
  • Will have decision-making skills
  • Will be able to use their initiative based on the findings of their research
  • Can demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Will have excellent computer skills
  • Will be able to work as a team
  • Can demonstrate initiative and be able to follow procedure and instruction
  • Will be confident to speak with clients and deal with senior staff
  • Will be able to work under pressure and to deadlines
  • Will be reliable and produce accurate work
  • Will have good business judgment
