Claire Huckle
Claire Huckle joined the firm in 2016 and has 20 years of experience as an FCCA-qualified accountant and Chartered Tax Adviser. She advises businesses and their owners across various sectors on advisory and compliance tax work.
Her specialist areas are within HMRC enquiries, Corporation Tax, Employment Taxes and Seed & Enterprise Investment Schemes.
Claire’s favourite career highlight was becoming CTA qualified, the highest level of tax qualification in the UK. Claire now uses this knowledge to empower the tax team and ensures that client work is delivered accurately and efficiently.
Outside of work
Claire Huckle lives in Worthing and enjoys sea swimming, walking, and travelling. She loves walking, especially in the Peak District, and is currently working toward beating her previous three-peak challenge.
Claire’s favourite holiday destination is Greece. Her family used to holiday there a lot when she was younger, and now she plans to retire there. As a result, when she has a free moment, she even spends her time learning the language in preparation.
She wants to visit all 7 Modern World Wonders, having already completed 3, including Petra, The Great Wall of China and Machu Picchu. Claire is always up for taking on new challenges. Currently, she is currently learning to sew patchwork quilts for her young daughter.
