Financial update – November 2022

Chancellor of the Exchequer Jeremy Hunt’s delayed fiscal statement on November 17th looms large in our diaries this month, as many of us will be eagerly awaiting his announcements and what they will mean for us.

The statement has been upgraded to a full Autumn Budget and will be accompanied by an economic forecast from the Office for Budget Responsibility; all of us will be hoping that this helps to bring about a degree of calm and stability over the coming months.

Of course, Christmas is just around the corner, so as we process the impact of the Chancellor’s Budget, our thoughts will surely be turning to the festive season too.

November is also Men’s Health Awareness Month, and the Movember campaign will once again see many people letting the fuzz grow and sporting a tache to raise awareness of common health issues faced by men, such as prostate cancer.

It’s a reminder to all of us not to ignore our health, both physical and mental, and to take action if we spot any warning signs that may suggest something is wrong.

As always, if you have any concerns or questions we’re here and happy to help, so don’t hesitate to get in touch.
