Wealth Management Update – October 2019

Welcome to our October newsletter.

October is the month when Christopher Columbus discovered Cuba in 1492. It’s also the month when the first hot air balloon took flight back in Annonay, France, back in 1783, marking the first ever recorded feat of aviation.

Forward to today, and headlines are reporting a global climate change movement, headed by the young activist Greta Thunberg. How times have changed since Columbus first set sail!

As October progresses, it’ll be hard to avoid Brexit news, which hopefully isn’t a balloon full of hot air as we drift toward the end of the month deadline. In the meantime, we’ve got more content to top up your reading list.

We hope you enjoy this month’s newsletter content.

Should you have any immediate concerns about how these market movements affect your finances, please contact Roy Thompson, Head of Wealth Management, on 01903 234094.
