Carpenter Box welcomes 20 new starters through its Associate and placement programmes
Each year, Carpenter Box recruits new Associates and placement students across our offices in Worthing, Crawley, Brighton, Chichester, Lewes and Portsmouth.
This September, we are pleased to welcome 18 new Associates and two placement year students to Carpenter Box. They join a growing community of 68 Associates across the firm, making up more than 22% of the overall workforce.
Our new Associates will work towards a range of respected professional qualifications. Eleven of the Associates have chosen to follow the path of studying for the Chartered Accountant (ACA) qualification.
We also have three Associates under the ATT/CTA joint pathway, three Associates studying AAT and one Associate going for the ACA/CTA joint pathway.
This year’s Associate cohort also saw two of our new starters first meet us at our Associate Scheme Open Evening in November 2025. It’s fantastic to see those initial conversations grow into the start of their professional journey with Carpenter Box.
Worthing office
Our Worthing head office is welcoming several new faces this September.
Joining us as placement year students are Will Christian, who is currently studying at the University of Southampton, and Malik Ali, a student at the University of Chichester. Will and Malik will spend time across our different departments, gaining broad, hands-on experience of working within a professional accountancy firm.
Anish Gautam has joined our Audit and Assurance (AAG) team and will be working towards his ACA qualification, having recently graduated from the University of Sussex. Also joining our Worthing office is Toby Wingham, who has recently completed his A-levels. Toby has joined our Tax Services (TSG) team and will begin the ATT/CTA tax qualification pathway.
Our Accounting and Business Advisory Services (ABAS) team is welcoming five new Associates. Zainab Bhamjee joins us after graduating from the University of St Andrews, while Benjamin Hart joins from the University of Sussex and Ismail Daidoun from the University of Greenwich. All three will be studying towards the ACA qualification.
They are joined by Abi Froome, who comes to Carpenter Box from Chichester College and will be studying towards the Level 4 AAT qualification, and Gabriella Noyce, a University of Exeter graduate who will undertake the joint ACA/CTA qualification pathway.
Portsmouth office
Our Portsmouth office is also welcoming three new Associates this September. Rob Collins, who joins us from college, will continue his studies towards the Level 3 AAT qualification, while Tom Soothill, a recent graduate of the University of York, has joined our AAG team as an Associate.
They are joined by Erjol Balla, who has become part of our ABAS team after recently graduating from the University of Southampton. Erjol will begin working towards the ACA qualification.
Chichester office
Our Chichester office is welcoming three new Associates. Mia Maggs-Hardy has joined our AAG team as an Associate after graduating from the University of Portsmouth. She will be studying towards the ACA qualification.
Kashyap Pradhan has joined our ABAS team after graduating from the University of Portsmouth and will also be studying towards the ACA qualification. They are joined by mathematics graduate Christopher Lowes, who has started his career with our Tax Services (TSG) team.
Crawley office
At our Crawley office, Precious Falomo has joined our Audit and Assurance team after completing an MSc in Professional Accounting at Coventry University London. Precious will now begin working towards the ACA qualification.
Also joining the Crawley office is mathematics graduate Zach Jeanes, who has become part of our Tax Services team and will follow the joint ATT/CTA tax qualification pathway.
Brighton and Lewes offices
Our Brighton office has welcomed two new Associates. Sebastian Streeter has joined our ABAS Commercial team and will pursue the ACA qualification after graduating from the University of Sussex. Alongside him, Tobias Mann has joined our specialist StarBox team and will also be studying towards the ACA qualification.
At our Lewes office, Megan Partridge has joined the ABAS team as she begins her career in accountancy.
This year’s intake brings a wide range of skills and perspectives to Carpenter Box, strengthening teams across our offices. We are pleased to welcome each of our new Associates and look forward to helping them develop their knowledge, gain valuable experience and build successful careers in accountancy, audit and tax.
