Alastair Watkinson

Alastair joined Carpenter Box in 2021 after a long banking career primarily spent looking after Surrey and Sussex based clients in the corporate and commercial marketspace.

At Carpenter Box he undertakes a business development role, building strategic alliances with key local and regional intermediaries to identify opportunities to work together for mutual gain.

He also acts as banking consultant, helping our clients to successfully negotiate the vagaries of the banks’ lending appetite to ensure that they are receiving market-competitive support. 

Outside the office

Alastair has two teenage daughters and so much of his spare time is spent ferrying them around. A keen sportsman in the past, this is now largely limited to spectating (particularly rugby and motorsports) although he still plays golf where his enthusiasm significantly exceeds his ability.
