Carpenter Box promotions: July 2026
This July, we’re delighted to announce a number of promotions across Carpenter Box, celebrating colleagues from across the firm who have progressed into new roles.
Our new Directors
We’re pleased to congratulate Claire Huckle and Nikki Martin, who have both been promoted to Director within our Tax Services Group. Claire and Nikki work closely with businesses and individuals to provide strategic tax planning, compliance and specialist advice, helping clients navigate an increasingly complex tax landscape.
We’re also delighted to announce the promotion of Tabitha Nicholls to Associate Director in our Business Services Group, where she supports owner-managed businesses with everything from statutory accounts and compliance to business advice, giving clients the financial insight they need to grow.
Joining her at Associate Director level is Reece Jordan from StarBox, who supports SMEs, particularly in the media and entertainment sectors, helping clients understand their financial performance and make strategic business decisions.
Operations
Congratulations to Mike Davis, who will be joining the Operations team as our new Operations Manager, working closely with the Operations Director to help deliver internal projects across the firm.
We are also proud to announce that Rachael Tayler has been promoted to Marketing Business Partner, where she will be the lead point of contact for marketing at Carpenter Box. Rachael will be working closely with Marketing Business Partners across Sumer’s national network of hubs to align regional activity with the wider Group marketing strategy.
This promotion also reflects the continued evolution of our approach to client relationships and growth. Kira McKinney has moved from her role as Communications Director to become Clients & Growth Director, where she will focus on strengthening the client experience, supporting business development and driving sustainable growth across the firm.
Congratulations to our new Managers
Within our Business Services Group, David Cronin, Tom Hampton, Steven Martin and Alannah Morley have all been promoted to Senior Manager, while Alex Williams becomes Manager.
In our Audit & Assurance Group, Jennifer Sexton has been promoted to Senior Manager, with Thomas Chaplain stepping into the role of Assistant Manager.
At StarBox, Jack Butcher has been promoted to Senior Manager and Leah Ward to Assistant Manager, while Cassie Finley has been promoted to Manager within our Payroll team. Isobel Alvino also becomes Assistant Manager in our Tax Services Group.
