Tony Summers
Tony qualified in a medium-sized London firm before moving to PwC’s London Middle Market division where he spent almost eleven years focusing on start-up companies through to FTSE 250 and everything in between. He subsequently worked for both a large Accountancy firm and a technology company before joining Carpenter Box as an audit partner in our Crawley office in May 2015. He now heads the Assurance and Advisory team where he is responsible for advising clients on all areas of audit and assurance work, delivering commercial and strategic advice.
Tony has over three decades of experience working with corporates both large and small in all areas of audit and assurance. Tony spent 5 years as a partner at RSM, where he was the national head of the Transport & Logistics Sector group. He has extensive experience in most sectors, with particular specialisms in technology, software, recruitment, manufacturing and transport and logistics.
Outside the office
Tony is a loyal, season ticket holding, supporter of Brentford FC. When not travelling from his home in Crawley Down to West London, he likes to spend time with his family. When time permits, he goes to the village tennis club, where he pretends he can still play tennis and that his diminishing efforts somehow keep him fit. However, he now spends more time gardening and playing Call of Duty these days than on a tennis court!
